ENTRE-DEUX: SUMMER GROUP EXHIBITION

Entre-deux presents a shared exhibition by Macadam Gallery and Forwart Gallery within one gallery building in Antwerp’s fashion district. Forwart curates the ground floor, Macadam takes over the upper floor, with moments of overlap where both visions meet.

The title refers to this in-between space: between two galleries, two curatorial identities and two ways of looking at contemporary art. Rather than separating these worlds,

Entre-deux places them in relation to one another. Visitors move from Forwart’s material-driven approach downstairs to Macadam’s architectural and urban language upstairs, while certain artists and works create bridges between both levels.

Together, these two perspectives create a parcours through abstraction, material research, geometry and urban narrative. The exhibition features works by Guy Leclef, Johannes Jan Jr Schoonhoven, Pepe Valenti, Jeanne Opgenhaffen, Dylan Martinez, Sebastian Gumpinger, Corine van Voorbergen, Merete Rasmussen, Jordan Tray (Kean), François Bonnel, Asa Johansson, Sali Muller, Daniel Mirchev, Jan Kaláb, Guillaume Grando and William Cooke.
